Faig Aghayev – an Azerbaijani singer and stage performer. He was born in Baku on 29 December 1971 and has worked professionally in music since 1988. His first album, “Ola bilməz”, was released in 1995. Aghayev has established a distinctive place in Azerbaijani popular music through his powerful vocals, emotional delivery and memorable stage image. Over the course of his long career and numerous successful releases, he became widely known as “Mister Gold Schlager”. His repertoire includes romantic songs, traditional estrada compositions and energetic dance-pop tracks. He has remained one of the leading performers on the Azerbaijani stage for several decades.
