MALIVE – a Brazilian music producer whose real name is Vinicius Lima. During the first stage of his professional career, he produced music for Brazilian hip-hop artists including Djonga, BK, Froid and Xamã. Djonga’s “Olho de Tigre” became one of the best-known recordings associated with his work from this period. MALIVE later shifted his focus towards house and techno, releasing music through Diynamic, MoBlack Records, Kompakt, Monaberry and Defected. The Reduto EP, “Quintal” and his remix of Cassiano’s “Onda” demonstrated his approach to combining Brazilian musical elements with contemporary club production. Released with Jonas Blue in 2025, “Edge of Desire” reached number one on Beatport’s overall chart and became the producer’s main international breakthrough.
