Sadix Mustafayev – an Azerbaijani singer, songwriter and meykhana performer. His work combines meykhana, estrada and urban chanson. His repertoire often explores Baku, friendship, nostalgia, personal relationships and everyday emotions. “Mən Bakıdan Uzaqdayam”, “Dedim Sənə”, “Qocaldıq Biz”, “Вам Хорошо, А Значит Нам Хорошо” and “Извиняюсь” are among his recognised releases. Alongside solo songs, he is known for duets and medleys recorded with other performers. He has also written the lyrics and music for a number of his works. His live performances emphasise direct communication with the audience, improvisation and a style closely associated with Baku’s musical environment.
