Stas Mikhailov – a Russian singer and songwriter born in Sochi. During the early stages of his career, he performed in restaurants while writing his own material. His debut studio album, “Свеча”, was released in 1997. The albums “Позывные на любовь”, “К тебе иду” and the 2006 release “Берега мечты” played an important role in building his mainstream audience. “Всё для тебя”, featured on the latter album, became the most recognisable song in his catalogue. He later released albums including “Небеса”, “Жизнь-река”, “Живой” and “1000 шагов”. He writes the music and lyrics for a significant part of his repertoire. His work combines chanson, estrada and pop with emotional songwriting about love, loyalty, separation and family. He received the title of People’s Artist of Russia in 2022.
