Candlelight Baku presents the “Original Candlelight” concert series!

From London to Paris, from New York to Istanbul — candlelight concerts admired by millions around the world in historic venues are now in Baku!

On April 18, a special retro evening dedicated to the golden era of Azerbaijani music will be presented on the stage of the Chamber and Organ Music Hall. Performed by the Candlelight Retro Ensemble, this evening—set in the delicate and magical glow of candlelight—promises an unforgettable musical experience.

The program will feature the finest gems of Azerbaijani pop and classical vocal traditions in new, refined, and emotional interpretations. Familiar melodies will be revived in a retro spirit, taking you on an elegant and nostalgic musical journey.

Candlelight Retro Ensemble is a specially formed group by Candlelight Baku, consisting of three vocalists and an instrumental lineup. The ensemble includes piano, percussion instruments, tar, kamancha, and more. With rich stage experience, stylistic balance, and expressive live interpretation, the group reimagines retro repertoire within the modern Candlelight atmosphere, turning each performance into an emotional and memorable experience surrounded by thousands of candles.
