The performance features Honored Artists of Azerbaijan Inna Imranova and Milana Sokolenko, as well as theatre actors Olga Arsentieva, Sabina Asim, and Ramil Aliyev.

The play “The Price of Happiness”, dedicated to the heroes of the Patriotic War, tells the story of a young girl — full of love and hope — who must say goodbye to her beloved as he departs for the front. The role of the heroine is portrayed by four actresses, each revealing a different side of her emotions. Together, they create a collective portrait of thousands of women who endured similar trials while waiting for their loved ones to return from war.

At times, one cannot feel the sweetness of happiness without the bitterness of hardship. The story of the characters’ lives once again proves that a person, for the sake of their cherished dream, is capable of overcoming even the hardest obstacles. The pain of separation, the torment of loneliness, and the fear of the unknown — all these only make a loving heart stronger and more unbreakable.
