Semicenk – a Turkish singer and songwriter whose real name is Cenk Baş. He first attracted wider attention as a contestant on “O Ses Türkiye”, where he performed under his birth name. Following his television appearance, he developed his career mainly through digital music platforms and collaborations with other performers. His 2021 release “Düşer Aklıma” became an important turning point and attracted a large audience within a relatively short period. Later songs including “Canın Sağ Olsun”, “Sen Kaldın”, “Yana Yana” and “Pişman Değilim” strengthened his position in contemporary Turkish pop music. His work combines pop, arabesque-pop and ballad influences. His songs explore separation, longing and disappointment in relationships through simple melodies and an emotionally direct vocal style.
