For the winter school holidays and New Year celebrations, the puppeteers have prepared a new gift for children — an entertaining performance titled “Winter Tale.”
This time, the moral story is presented through humorous and playful events.
As they journey through the world of fairy tales, the children decide to break tradition and prepare a gift for Father Frost themselves. But no matter how hard they try, they cannot find a present that would truly make him happy. Their advisor, Grandma, suggests that they can delight Father Frost by creating a special “Book of Fairy Tales.”
The children gather all their favorite stories into one book and eagerly await Father Frost’s arrival.
However, upon hearing about this, the Witch decides to ruin their plans — she steals the book and uses all her magic to change the events inside the fairy tales. As a result, the stories we all know and love become completely mixed up.
Father Frost and his brave helpers quickly restore order to the tales and, showing kindness, forgive the Witch.
She admits that she acted out of loneliness and joins the festive celebration. Together, they enjoy a joyful holiday.
This lively, music-filled performance is staged and directed by the theatre’s chief director, Anar Mammadov, with set design by the theatre’s chief artist, Iqbal Aliyev.
